NonStop is a fun way to get more physical activity into your life. But more important than the cool stuff you'll get, you will feel better and look better! You have to commit - set your goals, and watch the NonStop changes take place!!
NonStop is here to help you have more fun and more energy in your daily life. The more exercise you get and the healthier you eat- the easier it is to reach your goals! If you want to be a fireman, an athlete, a doctor, an entertainer, an astronaut or have any other exciting career - you have to be fit and healthy. If you want to try out for cheerleading, a team sport, the debate team or flag football, you have to have endurance and feel sharp!
How Does It Work?
You get NonStop points by tracking your daily activities, food choices and screen time online. Your parents will need to sign you up online and once your parents have completed your sign-up you need to fill out the "Tell Us About Yourself" section then start tracking your daily activities and choices! That's it! NonStop rewards you for making GOOD CHOICES and developing GOOD HABITS! Remember - Good habits will make you stronger, give you better endurance, help you develop good self- esteem and help you set and meet PERSONAL GOALS.

How Do I Earn Points?
NonStop runs in 6 week sessions and you can participate in up to 7 sessions in one calendar year. The first thing you have to do is get active! You should do some form of physical activity for at least 60 minutes (1 hour) everyday. Break it down based on your own schedule - but make sure you get that hour in! Remember, the more you do the more points you get! You don't have to join a team to be active and have fun. There are many things that you can do with your friends that will get you active and you don't have to do the same activity each day. So what are some of the things you can do? You can run, swim, bike, skateboard or walk your dog! You can strength train and do push-ups or sit-ups. You can do recreational sports like baseball, dancing, soccer, or cheerleading.
The second thing you have to do is to remember you are what you eat! Fruits and vegetables are a big part of NonStop. Eating 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables will help you have the energy to reach your goals. Junk food tends to make you too tired to be active. You should try to make fruits and vegetables a part of each meal and use fruit for snacks instead of candy or chips. When you eat at a restaurant try to choose foods that are not fried. Choose a salad, fruit or vegetable instead of french fries.
Another important part of NonStop is to track your screen time everyday! That means how long did you sit and watch TV, play video games or play on the computer today? The less you sit in front of a screen the more points you get! So when you get bored and decide to sit in front of the TV or play a video game – remember you are losing points just sitting there! Get up and turn the radio on and dance or jump rope or just go outside and play! How cool is it to get points for having fun? Wanna find out?
